How to know God.
You were created for a purpose, and God has invited you to have a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
The road map to God
REALIZE
Realize that you are a sinner.
Realize that you like every human is a sinner in need of a savior. Sin separated us from God. Scripture tells us “No one is good, no not one.”
RECOGNIZE
Recognize that Jesus died on the cross for you.
The bible says, “Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.” You must recognizing that Jesus died for you and has offered you a relationship with Him!
REPENT
Repent of your sin
Scripture says “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,” Repent means to turn around, and so you need to turn from your sin to Jesus.
RECEIVE
Receive Jesus Christ into your life
God’s word says “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
If you have never made a confession of faith and would like to just repeat this prayer below.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today and realize that I am a sinner.
I recognize that you died on the cross for me.
I repent of my sin and I turn to you.
Today I confess and receive you as my Lord and Savior.
I want to follow you for the rest of my days.
