How it all started…
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” – Zechariah 4:10
Ben and Meghan are Tiffin University Alums that found their way to Florida soon after graduation. What they didn’t know was that they would also find Jesus at a church called Calvary Chapel Boca Raton. They felt the Lord calling them back to Tiffin, Ohio after 5 years to plant Calvary Chapel Tiffin. It began as a home bible study in 2015, where they would gather at the Sandrock’s home for dinner and bible study on Sunday evenings. By 2017, the bible study outgrew the Sandrock home and Calvary Chapel Tiffin was launched at the Tiffin YMCA in March of 2018.
Expanding the vision…
Since moving to the YMCA, we have grown into a handful of rooms and currently meet in the group exercise studio (located upstairs above the gymnastics studio. There is nothing like getting your spiritual workout, where most do their physical workout!
Where we are headed…
Our goal is to keep church simple. We try our best to rely on the model laid out by the first fellowship in Acts 2:42. Our goal is to offer our community the opportunity to connect to God, to grow in Him, and to love others.
